In 2008, our prediction of the future, our view that our country could only move forward by stimulating primary production and our strong desire for a change in lifestyle in the years to come, paved the way for the implementation of the "ANOPAEA ORGANIC ESTATE". Essentially, it is a family business that began with the purchase of the estate (former wheat field) in 2008 by Christos Kavalieratos, in the area of the villages of Mendenitsa and Karavidia, on Mount Kallidromo in Fthiotis and at an altitude of 450-490 meters.

In 2009, we planted our first 600 olive trees, 500 of the “MANAKI” variety (agouromanako-unripe manaki and glucomanako-sweet manaki) and 100 of the “MEGARON” variety. In 2011, we planted 400 more olive trees, 300 of the “KORONEIKI” variety and 100 of the “AEGEAN THROUMBES” variety. In 2019 and 2024, we planted 200 olive trees of the “SERRON WHITE OLIVES” variety and 100 of the “KALAMON” (giant) variety, respectively.

From the very beginning, the estate collaborated with the “DIO, ORGANIC PRODUCTS INSPECTION & CERTIFICATION ORGANIZATION”, immediately implemented the principles of Organic Agriculture and after the three-year transition period, it has now been fully organic for many years.

Since 2013 - and after the relevant training of the owner - our first bee hives have been established on the estate, starting the practice of minimally nomadic, organic beekeeping with the movement of our hives only within Mount Kallidromo.

Since 2015 (and in addition to our commitment to the implementation of Organic Agriculture since 2009) we are also committed to the implementation of Organic Regenerative Agriculture and Carbon Farming, having made our first post on the subject on our social media as early as 2017 and periodically since then.

Our estate, as of 03-10-2025, is certified for the implementation of Organic Regenerative Agriculture practices with the “ORGANIC REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE (O.R.A.)” Standard. The “O.R.A.” Standard was created by the “DIO, INSTITUTE OF ORGANIC AGRICULTURE, NON-PROFIT COMPANY” and has as its auditing and certification body the “DIO, ORGANIC PRODUCTS INSPECTION & CERTIFICATION ORGANIZATION, NON-PROFIT COMPANY”. With this specific certification, our estate became one of the first to be certified in Europe (with any standard) for the implementation of Organic Regenerative Agriculture practices. The "ANOPAEA ORGANIC ESTATE", with the implementation of Organic-Regenerative Agriculture practices, aims both to produce healthy small-scale organic products for the consumer and at the same time to maintain and increase the health and vitality of the soil that will be inherited to future generations.

As a recognition of our agricultural efforts, our estate was selected by the EUROPEAN INSTITUTE of INNOVATION & TECHNOLOGY - FOOD SECTOR - SOUTH (E.I.T. FOOD SOUTH) for inclusion in the European “LILAS4SOILS” Program, following the open call of the Program on 2025-05-16, our application for participation and an evaluation and selection process. Having as our main value, the absolute respect to nature and our customers, our ultimate goal is to offer luxurious organic products of ultra-premium quality, preserving unchanged all their nutritional and therapeutic properties. As a recognition of our efforts, we have been included in the European project “EU ORGANIC JOURNEY” for the promotion of European Organic products to other continents during 2023-2024.
